Privacy Policy

01What this site collects

GameCN has no accounts and no comment system, so there is no profile to create. There is one optional email list, described below; beyond that, no personal details are requested.

Two features store information in your own browser, not on a server: the Saved list and the Recent list. They use localStorage on your device, contain only the domain names of sites you opened, and can be cleared at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Like any website, the hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, requested URL, time, user agent — for security and delivery. Those logs are not combined with any other data and are not used to build a profile.

There is no analytics script on this site at the time of writing.

02Email updates

If you use the subscribe form on the front page, the email address you enter is sent to Forminit (getform.io), a third-party form service that stores the submission and forwards it to the site's operator. It is used to announce new guide sites and nothing else. The site does not send email itself; Forminit handles delivery.

The address is not sold, rented or shared for marketing. You can unsubscribe by replying to any message and asking to be removed, and the address is deleted once that request is handled. The form is optional and the rest of the site works without it.

03Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising, and may use Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Where consent is required by law, a consent message is shown before advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice later through that message or your browser settings.

04Cookies you may encounter

Three kinds can appear here: essential delivery cookies from the host, advertising cookies set by Google or its partners, and no first-party analytics cookies, because no analytics tool is installed. Third-party cookies are controlled by those vendors, not by this site. The subscribe form is the only place where you submit data, and it is processed by Forminit (getform.io) as described above.

05Links to other sites

Every guide listed here lives on its own domain, and the site also links to sources such as Google's ad settings. Once you follow an outbound link, the privacy policy of that domain applies. This policy does not cover those sites.

06Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, clear localStorage to remove saved and recent entries, use a browser that blocks third-party cookies, or opt out of personalised advertising through the links above. Blocking advertising cookies does not prevent ads from appearing; it makes them less relevant.

07Children

This site is written for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. No personal information is knowingly collected from anyone, and none is requested.

08Changes and contact

If the site adds a feature that changes what is collected, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
